Game recap: Teams usually show some reaction after they get a new head coach, but Zadar crew made such a good a reaction that people from this city will talk about it for many years. With new head coach Ante Nazor standing next to the court, Zadar defeated Partizan NIS in front of 8,000 fans in Belgrade Arena and scored their very first win in the 2018/19 ABA League season.

This was the first away win for Zadar against Partizan NIS since 2004!

After the match, Nenad Čanak resigned as Partizan NIS head coach.  

Key moments: Zadar had +8 at the halftime, but they gained the key advantage during the 3rd quarter. At the score of 52:60, the visitors made the crucial 11:0 run and increased the gap to 52:71.

Man of the match: Luka Božić! This man was simply amazing. He finished the match with 27 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, while his overall index rating was 36.

Can’t trick the stats: Zadar had 10 rebounds more than Partizan NIS! The away squad just showed more desire to win this game.
