Game recap: FMP have scored their first away win in the 2018/19 ABA League regular season after beating Igokea in the opening game of Round 6. The Panthers played with so much energy, they were not losing the focus even when the opponent took control over the match and they eventually seized such a valuable win.
Key moments: FMP were up by 12 at the start of the 3rd quarter – 58:46, but then Igokea responded with a 16:0 run and the home team went in front - 62:58. Despite being in the right rhythm, Igokea crew failed to increase their lead and they were ahead by just 1 point with 7 minutes left on the game clock – 66:65. And then, it happened. FMP made the crucial 13:0 run in the next 4 minutes and escaped to 78:66. The Panthers have kept the lead until the end.
Man of the match: Stefan Pot has played his best game in this season! He was actually very close of achieving the triple-double! FMP guard finished the match with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists, while his overall index rating was 27.
