Game recap: Partizan NIS have made another major step toward the 2019 ABA Playoffs after defeating Cibona on the road. Unlike some of their previous duels which were quite thrilling, this one was pretty much one-sided, as the visitors dominated the court for most of the game.
This was the 6th consecutive win for Partizan NIS in the regular season, so the black & whites can even reach the 2nd spot in the remaining 4 rounds. On the other side, Cibona will remain in the middle of the standings despite this defeat.
Key moments: Partizan NIS finished the 1st half with a 10:0 run and escaped to 41:32, while they continued in the same rhythm after the break and increased their lead to 53:36. The black & whites had no troubles staying in front until the end.
Man of the match: Đorđe Gagić was the top scorer in Partizan NIS with 16 points and he was the player with the highest index rating (20 index rating). But, the interesting thing is that Gagić spent less than 9 minutes on court!
Can’t trick the stats: Cibona made 18 turnovers this evening, while on top of that they had just an awful shooting night: 15/40 FG2, 5/21 FG3. Not to mention that they had less rebounds, assists and steals than Partizan NIS…
