Game recap: Zadar will definitely be feeling more comfortable when looking at the ABA League standings, as they will be heading to the February break, than they felt before, as they have grabbed their seventh win of the season in the derby game against Cibona at home in Višnjik. This triumph takes them away from the red zone at the bottom of the standings, as they are now two triumphs above the last placed team of the league. They are now tied with the Zagreb squad in the standings, as the Wolves are currently holding 7 wins in their hands as well.

Key moments: Midway through the third quarter, Cibona were ahead by 5 points (62:57), but then the hosts went on a 13:2 run in the final five minutes of the third quarter, which put them in front by 6 points with 10 minutes to go on the game clock.
Cibona fans were hoping of a comeback in the last quarter, but the opposite happened. Zadar played very well in the opening minutes of the final period and pulled away by double digit number of points (80:70) in the 33rd minute. The Wolves did not manage to get close again until the final moments of the game, but it was too little, too late...

Man of the match: Mario Little convincingly steered the way for his Zadar towards the victory in the game against Cibona. He had 20 points, 4 assists, 2 steals, 1 rebound and a valuation of 27. He is our man of the match!

Can’t trick the stats: Zadar were shooting three-pointers 46% and Cibona only 33%. That was the difference between the two sides in the end.
