2019 WC Qualifiers: Serbia qualified for the World Cup

Serbia have beaten Israel in Belgrade and have qualified for the World Cup in China. Bosnia and Herzegovina are also celebrating, as they have beaten Bulgaria.

Serbia have done it again! The squad, led by head coach Aleksandar Đorđević, have managed to beat Israel at home court in Belgrade in the decisive game of the World Cup Qualifiers and have qualified for the 2019 World Cup. The hosts were the better of the two teams from the very beginning and have led by 8 points after 10 minutes and by 16 at halftime. In the second half they have only confirmed their victory, which they celebrated in the end with the score of 97:76.

In the other game of the night by the ABA League countries national teams, Bosnia and Herzegovina were the better of the two opponents in the game against Bulgaria. The hosts led by 8 points at halftime in Zenica and by 11 after 30 minutes of the game (65:54). The last period was therefore only a formality and in the end they have celebrated a victory with the score of 87:67
