Domestic Leagues: Cedevita and Cibona successful at the start of Quarter-finals

At the opening of the Quarter-finals of Croatian National Championship, Cedevita and Cibona were successful, by beating Zabok and Vrijednosnice Osijek, respectively.

In the opening games of the Croatian National Championship Quarter-finals, ABA League sides of Zagreb, Cedevita and Cibona have successfully faced Zabok and Gorica, grabbing convincing victories and took 1:0 lead in the series each.

Cibona edged out Zabok 76:66 at home in Zagreb, after a comeback from -7 at halftime. The crucial one was the last quarter, when they prevailed 22:8. Marko Ljubičić was the top scorer of Cibona with 20 points and Damir Markota had 15.

Cedevita prevailed over Vrijednosnice Osijek convincingly, with the score of 104:86, in a game that was a one-sided contest from the very first quarter, when the Zagreb squad went up by 11 points (27:16). For Cedevita, Jacob Pullen shined with 30 points, while Elgin Cook added 15.

Zadar will be on court on Thursday night, when they will be facing Šibenik in a clash of two Dalmatian sides.
