Domestic Leagues: Cedevita and Cibona advanced to Semi-finals

In Croatian National Championship Quarter-finals, Cedevita and Cibona have beaten Osijek and Zabok, respectively, and both have already advanced to the Semi-finals after having played two games of the series.

Cedevita have outplayed Vrijednosnice Osijek for the second time in two games of the series, as they have celebrated on the road in Osijek. This win pushes Cedevita to the Semi-finals already. After anybody’s first half, which ended with a 2-point lead for Cedevita, the Zagreb squad took control of the game in its second part and celebrated a comfortable win with the final score of 102:80. For Cedevita, Jacob Pullen led the way in scoring with 21 points, while Jakov Mustapić added 18.

Cibona have also advanced to the Semi-finals, as they have beaten Zabok on the road and swept the series 2:0. It has been anybody’s game all until the end, when Cibona have prevailed with the final score of 85:79. For Cibona, Roko Rogić topped the list of scorers by scoring 16 points and it was Damir Markota who followed him with 11.

Gorica have tied their Quarter-final series against Split to 1:1 with a 89:80 home win and third game will give us the name of the Semi-finalists.

Zadar will be facing Šibenik on Sunday in the second game of the series.
