Domestic Leagues: Victories for Cibona and Krka

Cibona have taken the lead against Split in the semi-finals of the Croatian Championship, while Krka have won the quarter-final series against Rogaška in the Slovenian Championship.

Cibona have taken the lead against Split in the semi-finals of the Croatian Championship. Despite having a slow start and letting the visitors score the first 11 points in the game, the Wolves still managed to defend the home court in the opening match of the series. Damir Markota was the best player in the winning team as he finished the game with 24 points and 9 rebounds.

Meanwhile in the Slovenian Championship, Krka have won the quarter-final series against Rogaška and have therefore advanced to the competition semi-finals. The boys from Novo mesto triumphed in Rogaška Slatina in Game 2 after making a big comeback in the second half. Krka’s hero this evening was Dominik Mavra who had 28 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists.

Petrol Olimpija suffered a road defeat against Šenčur, which means that this series is going into decisive Game 3.
