Domestic Leagues: Victories for Budućnost VOLI and Mornar

Budućnost VOLI and Mornar have taken the lead in the semi-finals of the 2018/19 Montenegrin Championship.

Budućnost VOLI managed to defeat Lovćen 1947 at home court, but only after having to go through a thrilling ending. The Blue team were up by just a single point on 2 minutes before the end – 91:90, still then they made the crucial 6:0 run and seized the win. Edwin Jackson was just sensational this evening as he finished the match with 38 points (10/10 FG2, 12/13 FT).

Mornar prevailed over Sutjeska thanks to a truly stunning display in the 3rd quarter. The boys from Bar won that period by 32:15 and secured the win long before the end of the game. Strahinja Mićović was very close to achieve a double-double performance as he scored 18 points and grabbed 9 rebounds.

The first teams to reach two wins will advance to the finals.
