Billy Baron extends contract with Crvena zvezda mts

It is official! Billy Baron has extended his contract with Crvena zvezda mts for one more season.

The American shooting guard has become the fans favorite over the past year by helping the team win 3 trophies – ABA Super Cup, ABA League and Serbian Championship. On top of that he was named the MVP of the 2019 ABA Playoffs and the MVP of the 2019 Serbian Championship Playoffs.

Crvena zvezda mts announced the contract extension with Baron just couple of hours after he scored the championship-winning lay-up in the 2019 Serbian Championship Finals.

Bili Beron je produžio ugovor sa Crvenom zvezdom mts na još jednu godinu dana.

Sjajni strelac je tokom prethodne sezone postao miljenik navijača, pošto je pomogao crveno-belima da osvoje tri trofeja – ABA Superkup, ABA ligu i Košarkašku ligu Srbije. Pritom, Beron je proglašen za najkorisnijeg igrača plej-ofa ABA lige i plej-ofa Košarkaške lige Srbije.

Crvena zvezda mts je objavila da je produžila ugovor sa Beronom samo nekoliko sati nakon što je Amerikanac u finalu Košarkaške lige Srbije postigao pobednosni koš uz zvuk sirene za crveno-bele u meču protiv večitog rivala Partizana NIS.
