PRESEASON: Mornar victorious, Cedevita Olimpija and Krka defeated

On Tuesday evening, Mornar, Cedevita Olimpija and Krka have played their preseason games. While the Bar squad have written down a victory, Cedevita Olimpija and Krka have suffered defeats.

Mornar have faced Balkan of Botevgrad on the neutral court in Čačak and have celebrated a 83:79 win, thanks to their first half performance, when they have prevailed by 5 points. In the second part of the game, they have only maintained their advantage, all until the final victory of 83:79. For Mornar, Brandis Raley-Ross, Uroš Luković and Nemanja Vranješ were atop of the scorers’ list with 14 points apiece.

Cedevita Olimpija have faced Nizhny Novgorod in a game in Kranjska Gora in a game, which could easily go either way and in the end, they have suffered a close defeat with a score of 65:61. With 16 points on his record, Jaka Blažič was the top scorer of the Ljubljana side, while Mirko Mulalić and Codi Miller-McIntyre added 8 each.

In Zagreb, Krka have suffered a defeat by Velika Gorica, in a high-scoring game, with the final result of 101:92. The Croatian side have prevailed thanks to their excellent third-quarter performance (24:16) and Krka just did not find a solution to get back in the game in the final quarter. Gani Lawal was the top scorer of Krka with 24 points, while another newcomer, Glenn Cosey, added 23.
