PRESEASON: Victories for Zvezda, Partizan and Koper Primorska

This was a busy preseason night for ABA League teams.

Partizan NIS have scored another win at the MEZ Polska tournament in Poland after defeating Asseco Arka by 100:67. It was a pretty dominant performance by the black & white team, while once again the boys coached by Andrea Trinchieri presented an outstanding teamwork down at the court. Just take a look at the stats: Rade Zagorac was the top scorer with 20 points, while three other players reached double digits as Ognjen Jaramaz, Žanis Peiners and Corey Walden scored 13 points each.

Crvena zvezda mts kept their perfect score in the 2018/19 preseason by beating Mornar in Belgrade – 90:72. The two new big guys in the red & white team James Gist and Derrick Brown were the top scorers in the winning side – Gist scored 18 points, while D. Brown made 15. Stratos Perperoglou finished the match with 14 points and showed that he has fully recovered from the leg injury, while Michael Ojo added 12 points for Zvezda.

On the other side, Jacob Pullen was once again the top scorer in Mornar, as the dropped 27 points this evening. Nemanja Vranješ scored 12, while Uroš Luković made 11 points. It is interesting to mention that Mornar’s summer signing Jacob Pullen scored 79 points in total in the last three preseason games.

Koper Primorska are still undefeated in the ongoing preseason. This evening they easily outplayed Temp SUMZ UGMK Revda – 87:59, with Marjan Čakarun being the team top scorer with 23 points. 

After scoring three wins in a row, Igokea have suffered their first defeat in the 2019 preseason. They were defeated by German side Ulm – 79:92. Igokea’s hot prospect Dalibor Ilić was the team top scorer in this match with 16 points, Rashad Vaughn made 13, while Sava Lešić added 12 points.
