WC: Serbia better than the USA

In the first of the two classification games for places between 5th and 8th at the 2019 FIBA World Cup, Serbia have beaten USA and will be battling for the final fifth place in the standings.

Serbia have played another great game at he 2019 FIBA World Cup, as they have beaten the USA in the classification game for places between 5th and 8th place.

The squad, led from the bench by Aleksandar Đorđević, have started the game powerfully and have led by no less than 25 points after the opening quarter (32:7). The reigning World Champions have made it anybody’s game again in the second quarter, as the difference between the two sides was only 4 points at the big break.

However, in the final quarter, Serbia made it a double-digit lead again and have managed to prevail at the end of the clash. The final score was 94:89 in favour of Serbia.

For the winning side, Bogdan Bogdanović topped the list of scorers with 28 points, while Vladimir Lučić added 15.
