EL: Crvena zvezda mts defeated by Panathinaikos in season opener
In the opening game of the EuroLeague Regular Season, Crvena zvezda mts have been defeated by Panathinaikos on the road in Athens.

The red and white did not begin the EuroLeague Regular Season just the way they had desired, since they have lost the opener on the road in Athens against Panathinaikos.
Squad, led from the bench by Milan Tomić have started the game well and led by 3 points after the first quarter, but the Green have turned the game around in second and third quarters. After 30 minutes of the game, Panathinaikos were in front by 11 points and they did not let go of their lead until the end of the clash.
The final score of the game was 87:82 for Panathinaikos. For Crvena zvezda mts James Gist led the way in scoring with 22 points, while Stratos Perperoglou and Billy Baron added 15 apiece.
