Mornar joins Crvena zvezda mts, Budućnost VOLI, Cedevita Olimpija and Partizan NIS in the 2019/20 European journey as the new season of the FIBA Champions League starts this week.

But, let’s begin this text with the EuroLeague in which the ABA League champions Crvena zvezda mts face Maccabi Tel Aviv on the road on Thursday evening. The red & whites have made a major step back in their ABA League campaign over the weekend as they were defeated by Budućnost VOLI at home court. However, this might be their chance to bounce back. Crvena zvezda mts are currently in front of Maccabi Tel Aviv on the EuroLeague standings and they are planning to keep it that way after the Thursday’s clash.

For the third week in a row, Partizan NIS will be the first of three ABA League teams to play their EuroCup game. The Belgrade squad have the perfect score after the opening two rounds, while now they are facing Rytas on the road on Tuesday evening. Last season, Partizan NIS were eliminated from the EuroCup after losing the match against none other than Rytas, so the black & whites will now be fully motivated to take a sweet revenge on the Lithuanian side.

Budućnost VOLI and Cedevita Olimpija will play their EuroCup games on Wednesday.

After scoring that huge road win against Crvena zvezda mts in Belgrade, Budućnost VOLI now aim the first win in the 2019/20 EuroCup regular season. The Blue troops will host Polish side Gdynia and everyone in Podgorica expect that Budućnost VOLI will finally get on the winning path in their European journey.

Cedevita Olimpija are traveling to Italy to face Brescia. The Dragons are still winless in the 2019/20 EuroCup regular season, but their excellent form in ABA League gives them hope that they might return from this tough road match with the precious win in their bags.

The 2019/20 FIBA Champions League regular season starts this week, while ABA League will have one representative in this competition. Mornar will play in Group C together with Brose Bamberg, Nymburk, Peristeri, VEF Riga, Tenerife, Nyzhny Novgorod and Gaziantep. In the first round of the regular season Mornar will face VEF Riga on the road on Tuesday evening.
