EC: Still no luck for Budućnost VOLI and Cedevita Olimpija

Budućnost VOLI and Cedevita Olimpija suffered defeats in the 4th round of the 2019/20 EuroCup regular season. It means that both teams are still waiting for their first win in this competition.

Budućnost VOLI will suffered road defeat against Galatasaray Istanbul in overtime. The Blue squad had three shot attempts to take the win in this match, however they missed all of them.

Justin Cobbs missed the 3-pointer in the final seconds of the 4^th quarter which could have sealed the win for Budućnost VOLI, while the same player missed the 2-pointer in the final moments of overtime. After Cobbs missed that 2-pointer in overtime, the ball ended up in the hands of Danilo Nikolić who pulled up for the long 2-point shot at the buzzer… However Nikolić missed the shot and Budućnost VOLI lost the match.

Cedevita Olimpija faced Nanterre 92 in Ljubljana and suffered a narrow defeat. The score was all tied on 2 minutes before the end – 86:86, while then Nanterre 92 guard Spencer Butterfield scored 7 points in a row to give his team the crucial lead.
