EL: Zvezda were defeated by ASVEL in Belgrade

Crvena zvezda mts suffered a painful defeat at home court against ASVEL in the 8th round of the 2019/20 EuroLeague regular season. The French team triumphed in overtime, while before that the visitors made a major comeback late in the 4th quarter.
Zvezda were up by 7 points, with 3 minutes remaning in the 4th quarter - 65:58, but ASVEL then made a 7:0 run to force overtime. In the additional 5 minutes, ASVEL big guy Tonye Jekiri made the crucial 2-pointer to give his team the lead - 73:72, with just 27 seconds left on the clock. Crvena zvezda mts had the ball-possesion and the final chance to win this match, however their point guard Lorenzo Brown slipped and lost the ball.
