EC: Victories for Cedevita Olimpija and Partizan NIS

The 2019/20 EuroCup regular season is over and one out of three ABA League teams has made it to the next stage. That is Partizan NIS, who grabbed the 2nd place in Group B and therefore qualified for the TOP 16 phase. The black & whites already know their opponents in the TOP 16 phase. They will be placed in group with two Italian clubs Segafredo Virtus Bologna & Dolomiti Energia Trento and with Turkish side Darussafaka Tefken Istanbul

The last day of the regular season was not that important for neither of the three ABA League representatives. Partizan NIS, who had previously secured their TOP 16 ticket, hosted French team CSP Limoges and scored a comfortable win – 77:58.

Cedevita Olimpija and Budućnost VOLI were aware that they could not reach the next stage, but still they gave their best in their final European games for this season. Cedevita Olimpija defeated Joventut Badalona at home – 103:81, while Budućnost VOLI suffered a narrow defeat against German side EWE Baskets Oldenburg on the road – 99:102.
