ABA League clubs in Europe (schedule)
While waiting for the next ABA League round, let's keep our fingers crossed for all regional clubs who are playing in European competitions this week.

After scoring 3 wins in a row in the 2019/20 EuroLeague regular season, Crvena zvezda mts has entered the Playoffs zone! The reigning ABA League champions are currently placed at the 8th position and they will do everything they can to remain among the top 8 teams on the standings.
The next couple of weeks may determine many things in the race for the EuroLeague Playoffs. Crvena zvezda mts will be facing the teams from the bottom part of the standings and the plan is to grab as many wins as possible in that period. The first opponent for the red & whites will be French side ASVEL. Recall that in the first part of the season ASVEL seized a shocking away win in Belgrade, but this team of Crvena zvezda mts looks significantly different than the one who played that game.
The EuroCup TOP 16 stage begins this week, while Partizan NIS will play their first game at home court in Belgrade against Italian powerhouse Virtus Bologna. There is no doubt that the black & whites will have huge support from the stands in the upcoming match as victory would mean so much to them in the battle for the quarter-finals.
The interesting thing about this duel is that Virtus Bologna head coach Aleksandar Đorđević is a true legend of Partizan NIS. We do not need to remind you that it was Aleksandar Đorđević who scored that famous 3-pointer in the dying seconds of the 1992 FIBA European League Finals in Istanbul and brought the first ever European crown to the black & whites.
The 2019/20 FIBA Champions League regular season continues after a New Year's break, while Mornar are about to host Russian side Nizhny Novgorod. The boys from Bar have scored 2 wins out of the previous 3 rounds in the FIBA Champions League and they hope to improve that score in the upcoming match.
