EL: Zvezda stronger than Panathinaikos in Belgrade
In the 23rd round of the EuroLeague Regular Season, Crvena zvezda mts have achieved a big home win over Panathinaikos of Athens.

Crvena zvezda mts will be continuing their EuroLeague Regular Season with ten triumphs on their record, as they have defeated Panathinaikos at home in Štark Arena in Belgrade in the 23rd round of the regular season.
The red and white have been behind for the majority of the game. Panathinaikos went up by 12 points in the opening quarter (21:9), but by halftime, Crvena zvezda mts have managed to turn the game completely upside down and led by 3 points. However, Panathinaikos prevailed by 14 points in the third quarter (25:11) and they led by 11 ahead of the final quarter. When it seemed like they would be taking the two points home with them to Athens, Crvena zvezda mts came up with another major comeback and celebrated the win with the final score of 78:73.
The top scorer of Crvena zvezda mts this time was Kevin Punter, who scored 24 points, while Stratos Perperoglou added 12.
