Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Montenegro scored wins in the opening round of the 2021 FIBA EuroBasket Qualifiers.

Croatia made quite a convincing performance in the home game against Sweden. Croatian troops had a 21-point lead already at halftime, while they had no problems keeping that lead in the rest of the match.

Bosnia and Herzegovina prevailed in a thrilling game against Latvia on the road. Adin Vrabac scored the crucial 2-pointer on 24 seconds before the end to put Bosnia & Herzegovina in front – 62:61. In the remaning time, Latvia failed to score, so Bosnia and Herzegovina seized this valuable away win.

Montenegro defeated Great Britain at home, despite having some minor problems in the 4th quarter. Still, Budućnost VOLI player Justin Cobbs scored 6 free throws in the final minute to seal the win for the Montenegrin team.
