PRESEASON: Zvezda beat Mega, Partizan triumph against Dynamic

Three ABA league teams played their prep games this Thursday evening.

Crvena zvezda mts defeated Mega Bemax in Aleksandar Nikolić Hall by 86:77. This was the first prep match for these two ABA League teams this summer, while the game itself was pretty exciting.

Crvena zvezda mts gained a double-digit lead already in the first quarter, while the red & whites were up by 20 points at the end of the 3^rd period – 71:51. Still, Mega Bemax refused to surrender that easily and the Pink troops managed to reduce the gap to just 4 points – 77:73 - with 3 minutes left on the game clock. Mega Bemax even had two chances to reduce the margin even more, but after missing both of them Crvena zvezda mts increased the pace and denied Mega’s attempt of a late comeback.

Zvezda ‘s summer signings Jordan Loyd (26 points) and Corey Walden (17 points) were the top scorers in the winning side, while In Mega’s team two youngsters Filip Petrušev and Marko Simonović scored 19 points each.

Partizan NIS have scored another win in the 2020/21 preseason after beating Dynamic VIP PAY in Ranko Žeravica Hall – 81:62. The black & whites had minor problems in the first half after which they were down by 3 points – 37:40, however in the rest of the match Partizan NIS troops dominated the court and scored a comfortable win.

Rade Zagorac was the top scorer in Partizan NIS squad with 15 points, while Nikola Janković added 13 points for the black & whites.
