Story of the game: The opener of the 2020/21 ABA League season in Belgrade is going to be a specific encounter of two young squads, that will try to prove their value once again this season, after they have both impressed and topped the expectations placed upon them last season. Both of them were Playoffs contenders for the majority of the season, even though not many have expected them to be ahead of the season.
The two sides have faced themselves twice in the regional competition, both times last season and both of them have got away with one win apiece. However, both squads have changed their rosters significantly during the summer, so the last season’s power relation is no longer valid.
