Story of the game: Zadar and Mornar are about to close Round 1 of the 2020/21 ABA League regular season with their Friday night clash in Krešimir Ćosić Hall.

Zadar are entering the 2020/21 ABA League season with new head coach Veljko Mršić and with several new players, including Aleksandar Bursać, Filip Paponja (Cibona), Eyassu Worku (UC Irvine), Jonathan Galloway (Bakken Bears), Darko Planinić (U-Banca Transilvania Cluj Napoca) and Justin Anthony Carter (Pallacanestro Varese). The biggest name who joined the team last summer was certainly former Panathinaikos forward Kenny Gabriel, while the three other newcomers are Taylor Smith (JSF Nanterre), Aleksandar Lazić (Koper Primorska) and Marko Jeremić (FMP).
