FMP returning to Split after 12 years
Exactly 12 years have passed since Split and FMP faced each other the last time in BC Split Hall.

Story of the game: Monday night basketball brings us the clash between Split and FMP, the two teams who haven’t faced each other for a long, long time.
Three-time European champions Split and two-time ABA League champions FMP played their last head-to-head game in the 2008/09 season. It is interesting to mention that FMP are now traveling to Split after exactly 12 years, as it was October 2008 when the Panthers played their last away game in this city.
The two sides have had a different start of the 2020/21 season. While Split suffered a road defeat against Budućnost VOLI, FMP scored a pretty convincing win against Koper Primorska at home court. Still, none of that will matter in the upcoming match as each team have already forgotten what happened a week ago and they are now fully focused on the upcoming match.
The past games between these two clubs have always been very exciting and we certainly hope that Split and FMP will bring us another ABA League thriller in their upcoming clash.
Match-up in focus: Ilija Đoković spent the previous season in FMP, while he then moved to Split during the summer and was one of the best players of the Yellow crew in the opening round of the 2020/21 ABA League regular season. On the other side, Filip Čović returned to FMP last summer and he made 10 assists already in his first game for the Panthers in the new season. Their duel can decide many things in the match to come.
