Crvena zvezda mts were very close to stun Real Madrid at home court, however the Spanish giant made some big shots in the final minutes and grabbed a valuable win.
The red & whites played a very good game. They gained a double-digit lead already in the first quarter, while they were up by 6 points at the halftime – 42:36. However, that is when Real Madrid turned on their engines. The visitors won the 3rd quarter by 23:11 and took over the lead.
Still, it was not over yet. Crvena zvezda mts managed to answer back in the 4th quarter and to even get in front on 4 minutes before the end – 65:64, however the Belgrade team have scored just 2 more points in the remaining time and have therefore lost the game.
