Game recap: This was indeed a special night for Mornar. Not just that they scored a comfortable home win against Koper Primorska and therefore improved their season score to 5-1, but the boys from Bar have also set the new ABA League All-Time record for most blocks made in a single game!

Mornar troops made 13 blocks in this match and therefore broke the 14-year-old record which was held by their local rivals Budućnost VOLI who made 12 blocks in the match against Zagreb in the 2006/07 season.  

While Mornar will be celebrating both win and the new record, Koper Primorska have suffered their 7th consecutive defeat in this season and they are still the only winless team in the 2020/21 ABA championship.

Key moments: Mornar have been in front during the whole game, still Koper Primorska managed to reduce the gap to just 5 points in the middle of the 3^rd quarter – 55:50. However, after the time-out called by Mornar head coach Mihailo Pavićević, the home team made the crucial 11:1 run and they once again escaped on a safe distance – 66:51.

Man of the match: This was a team win for Mornar. Kenny Gabriel was the team top scorer with 15 points, while Derek Needham and Taylor Smith had the highest index rating (17) in the home side. Each of them deserves the MVP of the match award.

Can’t trick the stats: Apart from those 13 blocks, Mornar also made 12 offensive rebounds, 20 assists, 10 steals… Simply they were a lot better team than their rivals this evening.
