ABA League Round 7, Wednesday, 9 December 2020:

IGOKEA - FMP

Where? Laktaši Sports Hall, Laktaši

When? 18:30

Story of the game: ABA League returns to action already on Wednesday evening as Igokea are about to host FMP in postponed game of Round 7.

These two teams are in completely different form. Igokea have won 4 out of the previous 5 games in the regional league and they are very close to the Top 4 zone. Head coach Dragan Bajić can be very satisfied with the way his team is playing in the ongoing season and if they manage to stay at this level be quite sure that Igokea will be among the candidates for the Playoffs.

On the other side, FMP have lost 4 out of their previous 5 games in the season and their current overall score in this season is certainly not something that meets the club’s ambitions. Still, the two-time regional champions have enough quality in their roster to be a dangerous opponent to any team in the league. And that is why FMP are traveling to Laktaši with only one goal – to stun Igokea and take the precious win.

Match-up in focus: In the previous season Stefan Pot was one of the best players of FMP, while in this season this 26-year-old point guard is the 3rd best scorer and the 2nd best passer of Igokea. Pot will now face his former team and he will have a direct duel with the league’s top passer Filip Čović, who is also the 3rd best scorer of FMP.

Head to head in the regional league: In total 3:5; In Laktaši 2:2.
