Nemanja Gordić has left Partizan NIS and he will spend the rest of the 2020/21 season in Mornar!
The club from Bar has confirmed this transfer and stated that Gordić will play his first game for Mornar on January 11, 2021 in the match against Zadar in Topolica Sports Hall. According to the league rules, Gordić will be able to play for Mornar when the 2nd half of the season begins.
Nemanja Gordić has averaged 10.1 points and 3.6 assists so far in this ABA League.
What is interesting to mention is that Mornar will be the 5th different club for Gordić in his ABA League career. This 32-year-old guard has previously played for Budućnost VOLI (2005-2011, 2015-2019), Partizan NIS (2012/13, 2019/20, 2020/21), Igokea (2013/14) and Cedevita (2014-2016).
Gordić has won two ABA League championships, the first one with Partizan NIS (2012/13) and the second one with Budućnost VOLI (2017/18). He was the MVP of the 2018 ABA league Finals.

Prvi čovjek Mornara Đorđije Pavićević postigao je dogovor sa iskusnim plejmekerom koji će u dresu "Ponosa Bara" debitovati 11. januara na meču protiv Zadra u Topolici.
Gordić je s velikim uspjehom igrao u dva navrata za Budućnosti, od 2005. do 2010. i od 2016. do 2019. godine. Sa Podgoričanima je 2018. osvojio ABA ligu i bio MVP finalne serije regionalnog šampionata.
Prošlog ljeto 2019. prešao je u Partizan i u prvoj sezoni bilježio 9,4 poena i 3,3 asistencije u Evrokupu, odnosno 8,8 poena i 4,6 završnih dodavanja u Jadranskoj ligi.
Prije šest mjeseci produžio je saradnju sa crno-bijelima do kraja takmičarske 2020/21. Za reprezentativca Bosne i Hercegovine zaintersovana je bila španska Unikaha ali je on odabrao “Ponos Bara” sa kojim će zimus igrati u TOP 16 rundi Eurokupa i jurišati na vrh ABA lige.
Prema pravilima ABA lige, kada igrač mijenja klub u ovom takmičenju, pravo nastupa za novi tim stiče po završetku poslednjeg kola prvog dijela ligaškog dela sezone, a to je u ovom slučaju, posle 4. januara 2021. godine.
