ABA League Round 4, Wednesday, 30 December 2020:

BORAC - MORNAR

Where? Borac Sports Hall, Čačak

When? 17:00

Story of the game: History is about to be written in Čačak, as another festival of basketball is coming to this traditional basketball town.

In the opening game of the Wedensday’s postponed ABA League games, Borac are set to host Mornar in their Borac Sports Hall in Čačak in what will be the first game of these two opponents in the regional competition.

Both Borac and Mornar have lately been in good shape in the ABA League, as both of the two squads have celebrated wins last round and we need to watch the game to find out, which of them will remain on the winning track.

Borac, of course, will wish to continue in the same fashion as they played against Split, when they have dominated the court and got away with the win, their only third this season in the ABA League. The fourth success would already keep them away from the danger zone near the bottom of the standings. On the other side, Mornar need a win to protect their place in the Playoffs Zone, where they are currently placed, as they have only suffered two victories so far in their 11 appearances.

Who would prevail and accomplish their goal? Let’s wait until the game, as predictions are difficult to be made in such clashes.

Match-up in focus: It’s Bryce Jones against Jacob Pullen! The top scorers of their respective squads will battle head to head on Wednesday night and we will see which one would shine brighter this time. Jones is averaging 13.1 points this season, while Pullen has been scoring 18.6 buckets so far in the ABA League. On the other side, while Jones has also been the top passer of Borac so far with an average of 4 assists per game, Pullen has come third at Mornar with an average of 2.8.

Head to head in the regional league: 0:0.
