ABA League Round 13, Wednesday, 27 January 2021:

CIBONA - BORAC

Where? Dražen Petrović Arena, Zagreb

When? 14:00

Story of the game: In the delayed game of the ABA League Round 13, Cibona will be hosting Borac at home in Dražen Petrović Arena, Zagreb.

A battle, which will be of extreme importance for both squads, is coming up in Zagreb, as both squads have plenty to fight for in their battle to avoid relegation from the top-tier regional basketball competition.

Currently, Cibona hold 3 wins and 10 defeats in their hands in the ABA League, as they are the ones that are sharing the bottom of the standings (excluding disqualified Koper Primroska) with Zadar, while Borac are just one win away with a 4/13 record.

It is clear, therefore, that the team that should win this game would be saved from relegation worries for at least a round or two, while the losing one would face plenty of troubles and get themselves a burden of a must-win in the forthcoming few rounds.

It’s worth mentioning that Borac have been in a better shape than Cibona lately, as they have won 3 of their last 5 games, while Cibona have won only once over the last five rounds. However, both of them have offered brave resistances in the previous round against Mega Soccerbet and Budućnost VOLI respectively, so neither of them is to be underestimated right now.

Which of the two sides would grab a win this time? Watch the game and find out!

Match-up in focus: Scottie Reynolds faces Bryce Jones! Two Americans will for sure be in a limelight this time around in Zagreb, as they will play one against another. As Reynolds is currently the top scorer and second-leading passer of his Cibona with an average of 17 points and 3 assists made per game, Jones is the second-leading scorer and top passer of Borac with 11.4 points and 3.8 assists achieved per game in the ABA League this season. Which one will lead his team to the win this time?

Head to head in the regional league: 0:0.
