Story of the game: Sunday evening brings us the game in Zagreb where Cibona are about to host Krka in Round 17 of the 2020/21 ABA League regular season.
Cibona have ended their 4-game losing streak in ABA League last Wednesday when they defeated Borac at home in postponed game of Round 13. This was extremely important win for the Zagreb side who is trying very hard to stay above the 13th place which leads into Relegation/Promotion Playoffs. Still, in order to fulfill their season goal, Cibona need to keep winning and that is why the upcoming match against Krka is also very, very important for the Wolves.
Krka have scored some big wins in this season, however their recent form is not something they are proud of. The boys from Novo mesto have lost the previous 3 games in the regional league and they need to get back on the winning track as soon as possible in order to stay in the safe zone.
Cibona have won the previous 5 games against Krka in ABA League, including the one from the 1st part of the 2020/21 season when the Zagreb side triumphed in Novo mesto by 80:63.
