National Cups: Mega Soccerbet, Partizan NIS and Crvena zvezda mts in Serbian Semi-finals

In the first game of the day in Novi Sad, Mega Soccerbet have outgunned the ABA League 2 squad Mladost of Zemun with the final score of 93:69 after they have been in control all game long. Mega have led by 17 points after the opening quarter already and everything was clear from that point on. For the winning side, Filip Petrušev led the way in scoring with 22 points, while Luka Cerovina added 19.

In the second clash of the day, Vojvodina have upset FMP, after being in front throughout the game. The hosts of the tournament led by a point after the first quarter, by 6 at halftime and by 14 with 10 minutes left in the game. In the end, FMP did come closer, but did not manage to turn the game upside-down. For FMP, Stefan Đorđević had 17 points and Nemanja Nenadić 11.

In the third encounter of the day in Novi Sad, Partizan NIS have overcome Borac of Čačak with the final score of 76:72 in a close finish, after throughout the game it did not look like it would come to that. The black and white, that have been up by 8 points at halftime, have increased it to 13 points after 30 minutes and in the dying seconds of the game they managed to protect their advantage. For the Belgrade side, Eric Mika topped the list of scorers with 15 points, with Nemanja Dangubić following him as he added 12 more. On the opposite end, Bryce Jones had 14 points and Dušan Miletić 10.

Crvena zvezda mts have convincingly prevailed over Radnički in the last game of the day. They have been in front by 24 points at halftime and so the second half was only a formality in which they have cruised to their first win of the tournament. The final score was 108:47. For Crvena zvezda mts, Branko Lazić had 17 points as the team’s top scorer while Ognjen Dobrić had 16.
