National Cups: Crvena zvezda mts and Mega Soccerbet in Serbian Final

In the opening game of the Saturday’s program in Novi Sad, Mega Soccerbet have eliminated the tournament hosts Vojvodina after being in front throughout the game. The ABA League squad of Belgrade have been up by 17 points at halftime and even though Vojvodina managed to cut their deficit in the second half, their win was never really endangered. Mega Soccerbet was led in scoring by Marko Simonović, who had 18 points, while Dayshon Scoochie Smith had 17.

In the other game of the night, Crvena zvezda mts have won the battle of Belgade against Partizan NIS after a thrilling finish, coming out on top in the end by only a point (78:79)! Partizan NIS were the team that have been in front for the majority of the game, but they just did not manage to maintain it until the very end of the game. For the winning side, Jordan Loyd was the top scorer with 24 points and Dejan Davidovac added another 19. On the other end, Ognjen Jaramaz scored 18 points and Marcus Paige 16.
