EuroBasket Qualifiers: Slovenia prevailed over Hungary

Slovenia have beaten Hungary in the EuroBasket 2022 Qualifiers, while North Macedonia have suffered a defeat by Italy.

Slovenia have presented another brave performance and grabbed their fourth win of the EuroBasket 2021 Qualifiers. This time they have prevailed over Hungary, with the final score of 84:72 after they have been in front for the majority of the game. For Slovenia, that have already secured themselves a EuroBasket 2022 berth, Jaka Blažič of Cedevita Olimpija demonstrated another excellent performance, as he scored 24 points, while his teammate in the city of Dragons Luka Rupnik contributed 13.

North Macedonia have suffered a defeat at the Perm Tournament by Italy, with the final score of 92:84, after the Italians have dominated the final quarter and emerged victorious. This is the third defeat of the Macedonians in three games played so far, which puts them in a difficult position ahead of the remainder of the Qualifiers.
