EC: End of the EuroCup season for Mornar and Partizan NIS

In Stožice Arena in Ljubljana, Partizan NIS have been hosting Boulogne Metropolitans 92 and in the end, after a close game, they have been defeated and ended their EuroCup season. The black and white have been in front by 3 points, heading into the last quarter, but then the French squad have turned the things around and won in the end with the score of 70:75. For the black and white, Rashawn Thomas had 20 points and Joshua Perkins 10.

On the road in Andorra, Mornar have suffered an 89:61 defeat in the final round of the EuroCup Top 16 and failed to qualify for the Quarter-finals. The hosts have been the better of two teams since the game’s beginning and have been up by 13 points after the opening quarter, by 15 at halftime and by 22 after 3 quarters. In the end, they have celebrated the 89:61 win. For Mornar, Nemanja Vranješ has topped the list of scorers with 13 points, while Taylor Smith added 11.

A day before, Budućnost VOLI have beaten Cedevita Olimpija at home in Morača in the decisive game in the battle for the Quarterfinals and qualified for Top 8.
