Partizan grab huge home win over Mornar

At home in Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall in Belgrade, Partizan NIS have prevailed over Mornar and grabbed an important win in their battle to avoid the danger zone near the bottom of the ABA League standings.

Game recap: At home in Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall in Belgrade, Partizan NIS have prevailed over Mornar and grabbed an important win in their battle to avoid the danger zone near the bottom of the ABA League standings. This way, Partizan NIS have ended their seven games long winless streak and scored their 8th win of the season. They now hold 3 more than the 13th placed Borac in their hands. On the other side, Mornar have suffered their 5th defeat and they are now on a 17:5 record after 22 rounds in the ABA League. This means that they still have a lot of struggle to do in order to accomplish their goal and qualify for the ABA League Playoffs.

Key moments: Partizan NIS were the ones to start the game better than Mornar and they led by 2 points at the end of 1st quarter and by 6 at halftime. The margin remained the same until the end of the third quarter (62:56), but then Partizan NIS made an 8:0 run in the opening 3 minutes of the final quarter, which pushed them up by 14 points (70:56). Mornar did not manage to endanger their lead anymore until the end of the clash.
