Budućnost VOLI have defeated AS Monaco on the road in Game 1 of the 2020/21 EuroCup Quarter-Finals. Now the blue-and whites are just one win away from advancing to the semis!
The hero of the day was Budućnost VOLI point guard Justin Cobbs who scored the game-winning 2-pointer – 77:76, just 2 seconds before the end of the 4th quarter. In the remaining time, AS Monaco center Mathias Lessort missed a lay-up at the buzzer and Budućnost VOLI grabbed this very important win.
Justin Cobbs scored 21 points for Budućnost VOLI this evening, while the team top scorer was Willie Reed who finished the match with 24 points and 13 rebounds.
The Game 2 will be played on Friday evening in Ljubljana.
