EC: Budućnost VOLI were defeated by AS Monaco in decisive Game 3

Unfortunately, Budućnost VOLI did not manage to qualify for the 2020/21 EuroCup Semi-Finals as they lost the decisive Game 3 of the Quarter-Final series vs. AS Monaco.

In this thrilling match the score was all tied at 80:80, three minutes before the end. But, in the following 60 seconds, AS Monaco made the key 4:0 mini run to take a precious 4-point lead – 84:80. The home side have kept that lead until the final 10 seconds of the game when Danilo Nikolić made ther 3-pointer the reduce the gap to just a single point – 88:87. On the other side of the court, Jaleel O'Brien made both free throws to increase the lead of AS Monaco to 90:87, while in the last second of this match Danilo Nikolić missed a long-range 3-pointer that would have tied the score.

Budućnost VOLI have therefore finished their EuroCup campaign for the 2020/21 season.
