Zlatibor outgunned Spars in Game One
In the first round of the ABA League 2 Quarter-finals, Zlatibor have prevailed over Spars in Morača Sports Hall in Podgorica!

ABA League 2 Quarterfinals, Round 1, Monday, 19 April 2021:
Spars - ZLATIBOR 79:82 (23:22, 21:27, 12:21, 23:12)
In the first round of the ABA League 2 Quarter-finals, Zlatibor have prevailed over Spars in Morača Sports Hall in Podgorica!
Not many have expected this kind of an outcome at the start of the ABA League 2 Playoffs journey for Spars and Zlatibor, as Spars have finished the Regular Season as second-placed and Zlatibor as seventh-placed team. However, Zlatibor managed to upset the Sarajevo team with exceptional performance throughout the game, but especially in the third quarter.
That’s when the Zlatibor squad converted their 5-point halftime lead into the 14-point lead at the end of the third quarter and it became clear, that it would be difficult for Spars to turn their game upside-down and they indeed did not manage to do it, despite their comeback late in the game, when they have cut their deficit to only 3 points in the end (79:82).
The second clash between the two sides is coming up on Wednesday and everything is still open!
