Game recap: Mornar have defeated their local rivals Budućnost VOLI in postponed game of Round 23 and have therefore stayed in the race for the 2021 ABA League Playoffs! Despite being down by 11 points after the opening quarter, the home side has managed to bounce back and to seize this precious win mostly thanks to Jacob Pullen who played one of the best games in his ABA League career. Pullen scored 32 points this evening and helped Mornar to prevail in this truly stunning match.

Mornar now have the overall score of 18-7, while in the final round of the regular season they will travel to Laktaši to face Igokea. That match might actually decide which of these two teams will qualify for the Playoffs. On the other side, Budućnost VOLI are now at 21:4 and they are in danger of losing the top spot in the regular season. If Crvena zvezda mts win in their two remaining games, then Budućnost VOLi will enter the Playoffs as the 2nd placed team.

Key moments: We have already written that Mornar were down by 11 points after the opening quarter – 20:31, but then the boys from Bar scored 37 points in the 2nd quarter, including 9 three-pointers, to take over the lead before the halftime – 57:55! The home team continued with fantastic offensive performance in the 2nd half as they scored 100 points this evening to seize a big win.

Man of the match: There is no doubt here as this award definitely goes to the hands of Jacob Pullen. Mornar's shooting guard, who has just recently recovered from injury, scored 32 points in this match, while his overall index rating was 30.

Can't trick the stats: Mornar scored 14 three-pointers out of 24 attempts! The home team had one of the best shooting nights in one of the most important games of the season.
