The World of Stats: Filip Čović becomes only the 2nd player to make 900+ assists

Marko Simonović (Mega Soccerbet) made 19 rebounds in the match vs. Cedevita Olimpija, which is the 2020/21 ABA League season record for the most rebounds made ina single game by one player. Also, it is the 8th best score ever recorded in a single game in ABA League history. The all-time record for the most rebounds made in a single game by one player is still held by Boris Savović (Hemofarm) and Tommy Smith (Split) who both made 23 rebounds in one game.

Marko Simonović is the only player in the 2020/21 ABA League who made 200+ rebounds as he finished the regular season with a total number of 215 rebounds. He is also the only player who averaged more than 8 rebounds per game (8.96).

Branko Lazić (Crvena zvezda mts) has made it to the Top 20 of the ABA League All-Time 3-Pointers Made list. Lazić has so far made 233 three-pointers during his ABA League career, while he has taken over the 20th place from Miljan Pavković (231).

Jaka Blažič (Cedevita Olimpija) has moved up to the 16th place on the ABA League All-Time Free Throws Made list as he surpassed Marko Tomas (463). Blažič has so far made 466 free throws in his ABA League career.

Filip Čović (FMP) has become only the 2nd player in ABA League history to make 900+ assists! He has made 903 assists in total so far, while only Mornar player Nemanja Gordić (1,020) has made more assists than Čović in the regional competition.

Although he did not play in the last round of the 2020/21 regular season, we have to mention Filip Petrušev who finished this season with the average score of 23.71 points per game. In ABA League history only 3 players averaged more points in a single season - Milan Gurović (28.60), Josip Sesar (26.50) and Marino Baždarić (26.23).

Marko Jošilo (Igokea) has set the new ABA League All-Time record in the best FG3% in a single season. Jošilo was shooting 45/76 (59,21%) for 3-points in the 2020/21 ABA League regular season and has therefore broken the previous record set by former Hemofarm player Milenko Topić in the 2004/05 season - 44/78 (56,41%).
