Game recap: The two fierce local rivals meet again! Mornar will host Budućnost VOLI on Friday evening in Game 2 of the 2021 ABA League Semi-Finals.
Recall that Budućnost VOLI have the lead in this series as thy triumphed in Game 1 in Podgorica by 97:88. Therefore, the blue-and-whites are now just a win away from advancing to the 2021 ABA League Finals and they aim to finish the job already on Friday night in Bar.
On the other side, Mornar have to win this game in order to force Game 3 and therefore stay in the title race. The boys from Bar have already defeated Budućnost VOLI twice at home court in this season and Mornar troops hope that they might do it once again.
The first game was very, very exciting as each side presented some top-class offensive performance. That game went on the side of Budućnost VOLI, while we are about to see who will prevail this time. One thing is certain, though. Whenever Mornar and Budućnost VOLI face each other in ABA League, be sure that they will bring us a thrilling game.
Match-up in focus: Once again the duel between Justin Cobbs (Budućnost VOLI) and Jacob Pullen (Mornar) will be the one to watch, because it was these two who marked Game 1. Cobbs was the best player of Budućnost VOLI that night as he finished the match with 22 points and 7 assists, while Pullen was the top scorer of Mornar with 24 points.
