Game recap: Split have prevailed over Spars on the road in Sarajevo and forced Game 3 of the qualifying series. The 14th team of the ABA League for the 2020/21 season will be revealed on Thursday, 20 May, since after the two games played of the Qualifying series, the Dalmatians have tied the series to 1:1 by beating the hosts in the Novo Sarajevo Sports Hall. The win by the visitors came fully deservedly, as they have been in front throughout the majority of the game and have in the end come up with a convincing triumph.

Key moments: At halftime, the gap between the two squads was still only 4 points (35:39), but after the big break, Split simply dominated the court. They have immediately gone on to the 7:0 run in the opening two minutes of the second half, pulling away to a double-digit lead (35:46). As it turned out later, not only did Spars fail to make it an even game again, but Split have gone on to increase their lead over the 20-point margin and we are heading into the Game 3 of the series.

Man of the match: Marin Marić has dominated the court in Sarajevo, as he finished the game with 16 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 block and a valuation of 28!

Can’t trick the stats: Split have outrebounded Spars 34:29 and that’s what played a major part on their way towards securing the win in Game 2
