Dejan Radonjić, Crvena zvezda mts Head Coach: “I would say that the two best teams of the season are in the Finals. We have expected that from the start perhaps. It was realistic in accordance with what I have seen and experienced later. We are focusing on the first game and we have been working on it ever since the end of the last game against Igokea. Budučnost VOLI have beaten us twice, have overpowered us in Podgorica and they have demonstrated that they have a reason to be optimistic. They have quality and are in good shape. They have advanced to the Finals in a superior way. A tough challenge is ahead of us.

We are not entering the first game the way I had hoped. The problem, that we have been experiencing for months is still present. Injuries, coronavirus, playing games with a small pool of players… It all keeps going. Kuridža will not be ready for Game 1 and Walden will miss it probably as well. He hasn’t been practicing for the games against Igokea either and then the situation go worse. We need to give more than our maximum, to control their quality and try to be better despite the situation.”

Marko Simonović, Crvena zvezda mts player: “We have reached the Finals and there are a tough series against the team that have beaten us twice ahead of us. We wish to answer them. Our ambitions are clear and I hope that we can celebrate in the end. We have had enough time to prepare ourselves for this game. There are no excuses ahead of the game. First game is the most important one and we are looking only towards it.”
