Story of the game: Game 2 of the 2021 ABA League Finals is just around the corner! Will Crvena zvezda mts double their lead, or will Budućnost VOLI manage to tie the score in the final series? We will find out the answer on Tuesday evening.

Crvena zvezda mts will once again play at home as they are the hosts of the opening two games of the 2021 ABA League Finals. Recall that the red-and-whites have defended their home court in Game 1 as they defeated Budućnost VOLI by 82:78 and have therefore taken the lead in the series – 1-0. The Belgrade side hope that they can repeat their pretty impressive defensive performance from Game 1 and that they will double their lead in Game 2, which would bring them just a step away from winning the championship.

On the other side, Budućnost VOLI had their chances in the previous match, but despite making quite a decent performance they eventually lost the opening game of the 2021 ABA League Finals. Now, they want to bounce back and to tie the score in the series as they are well aware that they have to win at least one game on the road in order to take the title.

Game 2 of the 2021 ABA League Finals is scheduled for Tuesday, May 18, at 20:30.

Match-up in focus: Ognjen Dobrić (Crvena zvezda mts) vs. Nikola Ivanović (Budućnost VOLI).

Ognjen Dobrić was the key figure for Crvena zvezda mts in Game 1. He scored 17 out of his 23 points in the 2nd half to lead the red-and-whites toward the big win, while his defensive performance in that match was also exceptional. On the other side, Nikola Ivanović had a slow start, but he shined in the 4th quarter and posted a double-double performance with 16 points and 10 assists.

Dobrić and Ivanović often guard one another during the game and that makes this duel even more special.

Head to head in the regional league: In total 24:23; In Belgrade 20:5.
