National Cups: Krka won their first trophy of the season

Krka have prevailed over Šentjur in the Final of the Slovenian National Cup and won their first trophy of the season and their fourth Slovenian National Cup trophy in club history.

Krka are celebrating their first trophy this season, as they have edged out Šentjur in the Final of the cup competition, after they have elimintated Cedevita Olimpija a day before in the Semi-finals.

After being behind by 7 points at the end of the first quarter, the squad, led by head coach Dalibor Damjanović made a comeback already by halftime and increased their lead in the second half, to confirm their win in the end with the final score of 72:66. For Krka Rok Stipčević led the way in scoring with 12 points, while Adin Vrabac added 11.

This is the fourth Slovenian National Cup trophy for Krka, as they have won the trophy before in the years 2014, 2015 and 2016.

Krka will also be fighting for the Slovenian National Championship trophy this season, as they have qualified for the Finals, where they will be facing Cedevita Olimpija in the forthcoming days.
