Domestic Leagues: Cedevita Olimpija win their 18th championship trophy

At home in Stožice Arena in Ljubljana, Cedevita Olimpija have beaten Krka in the Game 3 of the domestic championship and won their 18th Slovenian National Championship trophy in the club’s history.

The Dragons have swept the series, after having previously beaten Krka in Game 1 at home and Game 2 on the road in Novo mesto as well. On their way to the Finals, they have eliminated Hopsi and Helios Suns.

This time around, they have been in front since the beginning of the game, leading by 2 points (24:22) after the opening quarter and have controlled the flow of the game, staying in front for the majority of the playing time.

In the end, the score was 80:68 for the Ljubljana squad.

This is the 18th championship trophy for Cedevita Olimpija in Slovenia, after they have previously won the trophy in the seasons 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2017 and 2018.
