Mornar add Corey Davis to their 2021/22 roster

Mornar have completed their 2nd signing this summer as they penned a deal with American point guard Corey Davis Jr.
During his college career Corey Davis Jr. played two years for the San Jacinto College and two years for the University of Houston. After going undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft, he decided to start his pro career overseas so he joined Turkish side Afyon Belediye for the 2019/20 season. Davis averaged 11 points per match while playing for Afyon Belediye.
This 24-year-old player then moved to French team BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque where he spent the previous season. He averaged 13,5 points per game in the 2020/21 French championship.
Corey Davis Jr. is the 2nd newcomer to join Mornar this summer after Gligorije Rakočević.

Kori Dejvis novi “Mornar”
Bek šuter Kori Dejvis, koji je lani nosio dres Gravelina, drugo je pojačanje Mornara za predstojeću sezonu.
Dvadesetčetvorogodišnji Amerikanac je lani u Gravelinu u prvenstvu Francuske prosječno bilježio 13,5 poena (52,3 odsto šut za dva poena, 35,2 odsto za tri), tri asistencije i 2,4 skoka. Na poslednjoj godini studiji nastupajući za Hjuston univerzitet prosječno je postizao 17 poena po meču, i imao 3,3 skoka i 2,8 asistencije.
Nakon što 2019. godine nije bio biran na NBA draftu, Dejvis se “otisnuo” u Evropu, gdje mu je prva stanica bila turski Afion Beledije. U turskom timu je u prvenstvu prosječno po utakmici, za skoro 30 minuta igre, bilježio 11 poena (40 odsto šuta za tri poena), 2,4 skoka i 2,3 asistencije…
Prije Dejvisa, Mornar je pojačao centar Gligorije Rakočević.
