Olympics: Slovenia stronger than Argentina

In the first game of the Olympic Qualifying Tournament, Slovenia have outgunned the current World Cup Vice-champions of Argentina.

Slovenia have been a dominant force throughout the game against the Argentinians. They have been up by 8 points after the opening quarter (32:24) and by 20 at halftime (62:42). The hunt for the first pair of points has been over by then and in the second half, the squad led by former Krka head coach Aleksander Sekulić from the bench just continued to cruise towards the win.

In the end, Slovenia won 118:100. For the winning side, two former Cedevita Olimpija players shined, as Luka Dončić was the top scorer, with unbelievable 48 points, while Klemen Prepelič followed him with 22 on his record.
